Description

“C” & “CX” models incorporate Baker’s one-of-a-kind feedworks design that supports the wood in the direction of the cut for better stability and higher accuracy. Thin-kerf technology and the Baker Low Profile Flat Guide System generates up to 60-70% less sawdust and up to 25% more boards, easily out-producing a gang rip.

Baker Band Resaws are made of a heavy-duty construction and are simple to maintain and operate. They can be built with as many heads as your production requires.

• Guides: Baker Low-Profile Flat Guide System with steel guide plates.
• Saw Dust Outlet: 6”x6” (15.24 cm x 15.24 cm) square with a 90° adapter chute to a 4” (10.2 cm) diameter outlet, which can be rotated to serve four directions of discharge. 600 CFM recommended (17 m³/min).

Feedworks/Conveyor Hydraulic Motor:

• On resaws with one to three heads, hydraulic motors are powered by the main motor on the last head. Resaws with more than three heads have a separate power pack with a 10-hp motor.

• 3-Sided Feedworks: Rough-top belting, powered side feed rollers, non-powered hold-over wheels, and optional hold-down wheel.
• Feed Speed: Fully variable 20 to 120 fpm (6 to 36 meters per minute)
