Standard Equipment

• Monoblock base and cast iron tables: the solid, welded base undergoes a treatment call normalization which stabilizes the metal and assures exact tolerances. All machine mechanisms are mounted, aligned, and referenced to the base. This design is vasty superior to frames that are bolted together and have no true reference point. The cast iron tables are machine polished. These castings are ribbed to ensure maximum strength and to avoid problems with the tables warping or breaking during use
• READY digital control for the planer table positioning: the electric positioner ensures maximum precision and reliability for work piece set-up. Automated movement in job, semi-auto, and programmed mode allow easy, quick, and accurate positioning
• Manual movement of infeed surface tables by means of parallelogram system on connecting rods, with readout of cutting depth on scale: this technology has the table height adjustment through a system of four cams (one per corner of support) that pivot on a radius equal to the head radius. The radiused pivot ensures that the table chip breaker remains in the correct position from the head; in addition, it eliminates splintering and a poor quality finish commonly caused by other adjustment systems
• SERVO-SYSTEM – simultaneous lifting and locking of surface tables complete with mechanical safety device: speedy setting up for changeover from jointer to planer with lifting of surface table and automatic positioning of exhaust hood by means of pneumatic system with hydraulic control
